    1. Streetwalking With Jesus by John Green is the third book I have read in my recent series of titles focusing on serving people living on the streets In it, Green a married, Roman Catholic deacon chronicles the outreach work that he leads with his organization Emmaus Ministries This is a non profit group that ministers to inner city men in Chicago that have turned to prostitution as a means of survival due to addictions, abuse, and or homelessness.Like all of the accounts I have read on this topic [...]

    2. Short review This is a very moving books about ministry to prostitues in Chicago The overall theme of the book is Micah 6 8 And what does the Lord require of you To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God John Green does not think we all need to minister to male prostitues, but we all do need to think about what we are called to do to act justly and walk humbly with God.Most of the book is made up of stories of the guys that John and his staff have worked with over the year [...]

    3. Very eye opening glad to see there are people in this world that take God s word truly applies it A lot to learn from that I love that at the end of every chapter was a moment to reflect learn.

    4. What was really great about this book was that it mentioned a lot of places in Chicago I knew I will never look at those places the same way again It really inspired me to do a few extra things for the homeless.

    5. Excellent book and a true example of lived faith I especially admired the theme that not every outreach to the disadvantaged can be a success story, but that should never keep us from reaching out to those who need us You never know what a small act of kindness can do for someone.

    6. I really enjoyed getting some insight into John s thoughts about what he has been doing these past 20 years.
