    1. This book Oh, my god Between the jabs at Chicago all spot on, by the way , Loki s sense of humor An experiment could be fun than setting a fire , and tidbits like Ratatoskr the extremely foul mouthed squirrel, I laughed so goddamned hard I m pretty sure the people on the bus thought I d lost my mind This series is something of a guilty pleasure read for me, one I was pretty sure was going to be terrible, but I ended up being very wrong, and I m glad I checked it out.It would probably have been [...]

    2. This gets 5 s because of the addition Retatas What the F k Now to wait for the rest to come out on audiobook

    3. Yes I loved this book It broke my heart but I would gladly read and read it again and again The imagination ride that this takes you on is endless So much happens and you really need to go back and reread to get every detail SO much happened in this book endless entertainment and I read the whole series in less then a week After I read the last sentence in each book, I had to immediately purchase the next one Gotta love Amy She is so sweet and understanding and really is just too good for our he [...]

    4. Ratatoskr How could a book with Ratatoskr be bad I quite liked this book and found it a very good next segment of the Fire series.Plus, there was Ratatoskr.

    5. Loki that Loki, god of chaos and wanna be veterinarian Amy Lewis adventure on as Chicago crumbles and burns What can I say, it s just so weird and fun From a Joseph Stalin worshipping all powerful primal entity to discovering Thor isn t quite the jerk he first appeared to be, this is quite the romp.

    6. This series would make no sense whatsoever if not read in proper order The first book is I Bring the Fire Part I Wolves A Loki Story The second book is Monsters I Bring the Fire Part II A Loki Story The book after this one is In the Balance An I Bring the Fire Novella IBF 3.5 there didn t seem to be an easy way to tell the novella falls after the third book so I am showing the order here Or you can get them all in the omnibus I Bring the Fire Parts I, II, III Wolves, Monsters Chaos. This series i [...]

    7. Chaos I Bring the Fire 3 is by one of my favourite authors C Gockel and like the other two books in the series it doesn t disappoint, but it does need to be read in order otherwise the reader will be confused. This is definitely one of my favourite series ever it s full of action, suspense, intrigue with twists that will leave you second guessing what is happening until you ve finished the last page As a well as some romance thrown in About time too I ve been waiting for it since book 1 I truly be [...]

    8. I guess by this point I feel better about Loki I actually think I m going to miss him a bit He really does care about Amy He proves it time and again The author also continues to keep him real though by not making a Knight in Shining Armor He is still a little dark and carries a lot of baggage He still isn t really The Good Guy , not entirely He only agrees to do things if he believes it will further his purpose He is still manipulating Amy It s still obvious through different parts of the his i [...]

    9. Well, unlike Volume II, this one didn t make me sob like an idiot So I guess in that sense it was less effective I still have a lot of feelings about Loki and his daughter, though, and I also REALLY LIKE LOKI S FASHION SENSE His BIfrost shirt is my favourite, omh Also I m pretty sure one of my notes just says cera the incoporeal communist That was probably when Cera was going on about overthrowing the proletariat, though, so I figure it was justified.

    10. This has simple become one of my favorite series I love how the author adds different mythology to the stories I also love how vivid and real the characters are written Can t wait for the next book in the series to come out I d recommend this author to fantasy soft sci fi enthusiasts.

    11. The author continues to add to the depth and history of Loki, while increasing the tempo and tension of the story This is definitely the best of the first 3 books in the series, and the best written.

    12. Tissue requiredAnother great installment to the Loki series by C Gockel So many pieces come together and questions answered in book 3 I won t give away any surprises but keep some tissues handy No Cliffies here but the author does an amazing job leading into a book 4

    13. Damn this,is goodI really enjoyed this version of Loki He s got the smirk and the snark I love and though he s the god of chaos and change, he s still a hero in the end l think any fan of the Loki in the Marvel movies can relate to this Loki, too.

    14. I ve really been enjoying this series and can t wait for the next book to come out What a great escape from the drudgery of the normal world Thank you

    15. Jesus Christ So much is happening in this book and everything that is happening is so good it made my imagination go wild Cera s Josef is Joseph Stalin, Lord Shiva and Loki has an incarnation connection, so does, Lopt, Svadilfari s mare, Lothur Elf queen s lover and Laugaz Hoenir s lover They are all the same They are different incarnations of Loki C Gockel has done a wonderful job in connecting all these deities in such a flawless way And I have dreams of my love, who was not my love, but was H [...]

    16. An interesting direction for the story Not written to have the ending be a surprise, and a little intrigue to it might have been nice Issues and details are well explained, but like an exciting documentary than the action with light mystery the other books had been, and which I had been expecting again Still it was a fun origin story, if you will, and sets up the rest of the series well.

    17. C Gockel You have made me sound like a dying goose while reading this book When my emotions come out of me sounding like the heartbreak of goose then you know your book series is good It kept me guessing, it kept me up late to read until I had to FORCE myself to put it down cause I had to sleep so I could work in the morning I am almost afraid to see what the next book holds, and that fear makes me giddy

    18. I Bring Fire Part lllThe reason for 3 stars is that at times the story dragged. This is not the normal circumstance for this author and I am sure that an update will correct that problem.

    19. Lots of fun Nordic mythology in here ventures into parallels in other religions, but I got tired of the action movie plotline when in the present , which appears to go on for several books.

    20. I don t even think I can give a coherent review This book lives in my head now and it s not going anywhere.

    21. I am loving this series, I was almost not wanting to finish it.This is the climax of the first arc of this book series It s also the most dramatic too, with so much happening and yet it was brought about so gradually it didn t feel rushed at the end Loki begins at the start to trick those who are after him which is classic Loki after all, that is who he is and then everything happens he and Amy become so much closer than they were before, the barriers that were around Amy who didn t seem Loki ro [...]

    22. In which CERA THE INCORPOREAL COMMUNIST MIST causes ALL THE DRAMA, forcing me to read a great many quotes aloud because in context they re dramatic but bizarre and out of context they re completely hilarious Charley probably has an incredibly warped view of this book s content by now, and honestly, I m not at all sorry Observation it turns out incorporeal communist mists are considered rather dangerous Who knew Another observation apparently it s hard to overthrow the proletariat when you don t [...]

    23. Finally, this is what I ve been waiting for from this series So far I have been underwhelmed by the I Bring the Fire series Though they are easy reading books and an enjoyable way to pass a few hours, they have been missing that certain element to raise them above forgettable reads This novel finally provides that extra ingredient For the most part, it is much the same as the other two It s fast paced, has some light humour, the characters are enjoyable and it s interesting enough to keep you re [...]

    24. Wow, is all I can say I started this book wanting to know what is going to happen next to Amy and Loki because Part II hooked me I loved the beginning and somewhere in the middle section, I was beginning to get a bit bored This is usually when I would end up putting a book down, but I made myself continue and I am so glad that I did The action picked up and kept going faster and faster The ending was amazing and I was really taken by surprise by how this part ended What is nice is that if one wa [...]

    25. I LOVED this book Gockel is a master at weaving together all the complex pieces of the plot together There were several twists I didn t see coming, and yet as I think back, I remember how she already started spreading hints here and there since the first book another aspect to this series that remind me of very well written Doctor Who episodes This blend of sci fi and fantasy in the modern day setting is praise worthy Gockel has such creativity in incorporating not only Norse mythology but other [...]
