    2. Totally enjoyed this bookI loved all the characters and twists and turns I never would have guessed who did it I also appreciate the lack of cursing, violence and sex which proves that a good writer does not need that to have a good book This book was just the right length to be able to finish at one sitting Great job Will be watching for your next book

    3. Surprise Ending Andrew Stanek has a new fan I found Death by Nostalgia to be a thoroughly entertaining read The title grabbed my attention and it was a great page turner to the very end.

    4. Mystery until the end.I mostly read this book while on a flight It kept my attention throughout the read I never did figure out the murderer I also appreciated that there weren t too many characters and it was easy to keep them separate All in all, I would look forward to another Felix Green mystery.

    5. Well if this had been written by a high school student for a Creative Writing assignment, I would ve said that it is pretty good But even so, I d have offered a number of constructive criticisms. For one, loosen up on the dialog If you get too concerned with keeping things grammatically correct, the exchanges become stiff and unnatural Keep it conversational After all, that s supposed to be what your characters are doing conversing Secondly, avoid the trap of trying to populate an ensemble cast o [...]

    6. Felix Green is a private detective who has a streak of kleptomania In this short novel, he looks into the case of a women who dies as an ancient building is imploded to make way for some future development The mystery sort of works, but the characters are cliched and their interaction is a bit ridiculous The dialogue is forced and the drawing room scene where Felix names the murderer doesn t quite work.Felix Green is a Mary Sue character, but there is something in here, in the work, that might c [...]

    7. 8. After the demolition of a building a fresh cadaver is found and assumed to have been murdered by someone during the time the building was destroyed I homicide detective and quirky private detective set out to determine how and why the death occurred What they uncover is not what you might expect The writing was okay and it rates a three for being a good but not exceptional who done it type of story.Received through a Library Thing giveaway.

    9. I was fortunate enough to receive a review copy of Falling Problem earlier in the year and as I enjoyed it so much I decided to sample another Felix Green mystery Death by Nostalgia, while short, was another entertaining whodunit. The story was well paced, and I loved the interactions between Sam and Felix I look forward to reading by this author.

    10. A succinct mystery with an entertaining PI who I look forward to reading about again A handful of suspects, connected by their home of 20 years ago, keep you, and the overworked police detective, guessing The plot fits the shortish book length perfectly A good read.

    11. Twists and turnsEasy to read and delightful characters I didn t want anyone to be guilty Humorous at times but real enough to believe it happened in some city.

    12. For a first novel its very good, the characters are quite likeable and the story is good The cop was a bit dim, but it didn t matter too much An enjoyable quick read
