    1. 4 Stars It was not just a dance No No, it wasn t swoon The romantic aspect of this story just sort of snuck up on me right towards the end and smacked me in the face and I bloody loved it Captain Bjorn was an intriguing character mysterious, beguiling, protective and compassionate I loved what little we glimpsed of this man, and I m beyond keen to read stories about this dashing pirate Captain Aaron, too, was a great character I m certain wherever this series goes from here it will only get bet [...]

    2. Overall book rating 4Audio Book N ABook Cover 4.5 I loved this I don t care if it was only 66 pages long. Why oh why is there only ONE book in the series I ll have to go have a blog chat with the author about this Even though it s really short and therefore, as in all short reads, it left me wanting MORE and sometimes not quite sure I fully understand what exactly is going on around me, I didn t care The writing was really great and I was pulled into the story from the start. This would make an ab [...]

    3. Very enjoyable short that I read straight through as a bedtime story It felt like we were dropped into the middle of a world where we were being given a snapshot, which I actually loved, as it was easy enough to follow but gave the feeling of something bigger It had a kind of fairy tale atmosphere about it and I couldn t help but like the main characters.Really my only complaint would be that I would like MOREof everything But I ve now seen that there are actually other books in this same verse [...]

    4. Pirates I just adored Captain Bjorn and Aaron together I wish this was a longer story though I d love to read of the characters and their world and, I m going to admit, I didn t quite understand all of the things that were happening outside of the main romance.

    5. 2.5 starsI wonder if it was because of my unfamiliarity with the story that inspired Captain Bjorn or the fact that I was rather confused with the whole connection between Bjorn, Serrin, and their brothers wait, so Serrin had a brother, as well as Bjorn, and Bjorn needed Serrin to find Serrin s brother so Bjorn could find his own brother and it had something to do with Serrin s ability with the pieces of the needle I didn t enjoy this as much as the other readers Maybe if it was lengthier, I wou [...]

    6. This was fun, the characters were interesting and I liked them pretty much from the start, it had a lot of potential I did however find the story a little confusing at times.

    7. What an intriguing start to a series Why are there no This is a great short read that unfolds at a good pace And that ending happy contented sigh AgainWhere s the next one

    8. Pirates Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Sorry I had too, and really who doesn t love a good pirate story There are not enough pirate stories out there and on top of that good ones No need to fret here however, because this story was good First, I have to say I really did enjoy the author s take on the Snow White and Rose Red fable This had a Historical Sci Fi flair to it which had me captivated considering its length The want between Aaron and Captain Bjorn was beautifully done To watch Aaron figure out hi [...]

    9. Short, hot and fun This story was short, hot and loads of fun A sweet romance with swashbuckling pirates and heaps of mystery Read and loved in one sitting.

    10. Too Short, but lovely storyWayyyy too short never would have read this if it weren t a Kindle Unlimited offer.Such great characters plot Wish it had been a 300 page novel

    11. Loved the characters, but the story was a bit confusing Felt like maybe I had missed a prequel or was starting in the middle.
