    1. I was hoping for a fabulous wallbanger, but I just got a bad book Take the soaking wetness of a Penny Jordan heroine, the ping pong conversations of a Lucy Monroe story and the arrogant assholeness and icky pillowtalk of a Sharon Kendrick hero plus the obsession with fellatio and add a healthy dose of what the hell happened I seriously wondered at least once if the ebook had somehow gotten out of order because one minute the heroine is sick and the doctor is doing a pregnancy test, then a lot of [...]

    2. My goodness, the hero in this book is the biggest jerk in Harlequin Presentsland, and that s saying a lot He pretty much seduced the heroine into an affair and dropped her like a hot potato when someone lied and said she stole some valuable artifacts from the museum that she worked at supported by his mom Did he not know what kind of person she was It was fairly obvious she wouldn t have done this.So she ends up having his baby and goes to make a life for herself, her loser sister, and her baby [...]

    3. I was in the mood for a Perils of Pauline type story and remembered this one for a re read While Pauline of the silent movie days would be tied to the tracks, this heroine has modern problems.I ll arrange those in chronological order perhaps if you imagine each scene in black and white with each gesture exaggerated and manic music playing you ll see the entertainment value of sweet Polly Pure Bread and her lover enemy hero twirling his mustache Heroine meets hero in Greece where she is working [...]

    4. If YOU HATE HARLEQUINS WHY ARE YOU READING THEM It s a HARLEQUIN ROMANCE I love Harlequins there is always a HEA e Hero is mostly always an alpha asse heroine always has a Good heart even if she doesn t use all of her brains I have read them for over 40 yearsd I will read them 4o I know they will be good and give me my HEA that I read romances for.If you don t like this kind of book why do you read them and then give them one star That is just being anal and is a dis service to others who read [...]

    5. Can you say A hole kids I seriously wanted to harm the H in this book Yes, he s imaginary Ms Milbourne, how could you , I get that But the non stop blackmailing and name calling was a little much I m waiting for the day one of these h s say to the asshat hero, See ya in court douchebag.

    6. Talk about a bunch of TSTL characters Egads, these people are just dumb To be so rich, the hero sure has a lousy security system Also, what kind of person keeps a secret that ruined the lives of two people AFTER the person who told you the secret dies Again, TSTL.What kind of person continues keeping this secret AFTER finding out the two people whose lives had been ruined are really three cause the woman had a baby that the man refused to acknowledge when he, literally, kicked her out of the cou [...]

    7. Heroine s sister is a hard core drug addict who turns tricks to finance her habit The h is AWARE of this and her sister s useless promises to quit and yet allows her to stay with her and her young daughter when she runs out of money and craving drugs Sigh Why, just why Though I can empathise with her struggles to help her sister, drug addiction is a trope that can t be handled well in a fluffy romance The h comes off looking an irresponsible mother instead of a tender hearted, loyal sibling.H, o [...]

    8. Damon Latousakis and Charlotte Woodruff were involved four years ago, but then he accused her of a theft that she didn t do He didn t believe her when she claimed she was innocent because there weren t really any other suspects besides his family and it gave him an out because he didn t like the feelings she was generating in him So off she goes, dismissed from his life Before he kicked her to the curb she told him she was pregnant, but again he didn t believe her as some other men claimed she s [...]

    9. Okay I re read it And guess what I still hated it The heroine was an idiot I got so sick of her and that fellatio obsessed hero I just wanted to gag every time he mentioned her mouth or tongue Instead I did shots of Jaeger I was drunk by the third chapter It was just gross but I digress The book was horrible He is a loser and she is pathetic All he had do was rub his most likely diseased, flea ridden, overused limb against her and she was in heat They were like dogs I was waiting for her to have [...]

    10. Come in and wipe your feet on the heroine. What a stupid chick Four years ago the H accused her of stealing some artifacts, wouldn t let her explain, and refused to believe she was pregnant. Now, he shows up at her work ready to torture her an unfinitum He manipulates her into engaging with his magic penis she just can t resist it him by blackmail and threats Her loving sister, who is not only a drug addict but also a prostitute, helps this along by stealing the H s wallet All along the h h manage [...]

    11. Had read this book long time back, such a horrible book, the jerk hypocrit dumbheaded hero and spineless heroine, the incident when she kept her child with that druggie sister who was making out in next room it seriously raised questions in my eyes of her being a good mother,i completely understand she cannot throw her sister out and not to forget her financial problems cause of which she cannot rent another house for herself and her daughter but least she can do is leave the daughter with neighbou [...]

    12. This one had a lot of the tropes I love blackmail, falsely accused heroine, vengeful hero , but it just didn t come together for me It was along with the H h s emotions all over the place.

    13. I read this a long time ago and still remember itAnyway, the hero was CRUEL to heroine and believe me I like jerks in my HP but not that level of jerk.I m not in the mood to keep writing everything I hated about this book so read the reviews by Vintage, Danielle The Book Huntress Self Proclaimed Book Ninja or Tara and you ll get the idea.

    14. A very intense emotional read.gs tears to your eyes as some scenes are just heartbreaking A wonderful passionate read The chemistry between Damon and Charlotte was palpable and their baby girl was super adorable Her scenes with her daddy melted my heart

    15. The best way to describe this book is a love, hate relationship between Charlotte, and Damon Fire, and ice The chemistry was red hot, the emotions were raw, and intense They wanted to hate one another, but the passion kept drawing them together I loved little Emily in this story She is 3 years old, and stole my heart My heart went out to Charlotte and everything she was going through with her sister The author described the pain family s goes through when they have a loved one addicted to drugs [...]

    16. H definitely annoyed me and overall just a good not great read, but at least his immediate love for female child was deep and powerful.

    17. Another unusual story I didn t like the behaviour of the main characters to start off with but as the story went along I began to understand them both People say and do things, at times, to protect themselves Things worked out well and there was a happy ending.

    18. It amazes me how these Harlequin authors think that women like reading about verbally abusive alpha males I refuse to call them heroes and doormats and call it a romance This story was downright deplorable He never apologizes for the way he treats her, and he still thinks she is a thief I know that this is just a story, but if a man ever treated me the way these jerks did, nothing, not even threats, will make me submit to him Ever I would love to for once, read a Harlequin novel that features a [...]

    19. his sister lied and said she stole some valuable artifacts from the museum that she worked owned by his mom He refuses to listen to her or accept her calls so she can t tell him she is pregnanther lowlife sister is doing drugs and bringing her fellow low lives around her young child.

    20. The hero and heroine were in love with each other but when a theft occurred the hero blamed the heroine and sent her away not knowing she was pregnant After a bitter betrayal by the man she loves she kept her daughter hidden for four years but now the truth has come out and he won t leave without his child or her mother. The ending of this book sucked monkey balls I absolutely abhorred it but the rest was pretty good.
