    1. You always have a choice Whether you make it or you let it make itself, says A J Knight in Stacy Stalling s White Knight As an EMT he is often the white knight riding to the rescue, making life or death decisions for people in crisis But choosing to fall in love comes under a completely different category Meanwhile Eve Knox is slowly crawling out from the choice she made to hide when her life fell apart. While this is book 2 of a series it reads like number one new characters taking center stage [...]

    2. Christian contemporary romance Other reviewers complained that it wasn t completely Christian, because there was drinking, gambling, and sexual tension There also wasn t much mention of God, except when characters were going through something and prayed silently However, I am sure that if the author did not classify her books as Christian, many readers would complain that they mentioned God and were missing sex scenes Anyway, I really enjoyed the book and read it in a couple of sittings I was mo [...]

    3. White Knight by Staci Stallings was free on kindle and I downloaded it and enjoyed reading this heartwrenching romance Eve Knox struggles beneath the weight of grief even two years after her beloved husband Dustin, a firefighter, dies as a result of a fighting a fire She buries herself in her work and suffers the matchmaking of well meaning friends A.J Knight was a wanna be drummer who couldn t make it and returned home to work as an E.M.T He was the paramedic who as a novice was first on the sc [...]

    4. Read like a Mills Boom Harlequin publication even though it wasn t one of theirs Wasn t quite what I had hoped it would be The main characters were working adults in their mid to late twenties, but I thought their actions and attitudes were, often than not, like those of much immature individuals That didn t impress me much Another thing that didn t impress me was the fact that the word Christian in the sub title was misleading I didn t read anything particularly Christian in the novel.

    5. Staci Stallings did it againThis book was as awesome as the first I truly love her ability to make the characters so real and down to earth They are just like your next door neighbors, or your good friends The situations are so real, you can easily envision yourself there in that same one You find yourself thinking would I handle this like this I love her stories where life is not exactly perfect, but in the end it is perfect enough

    6. I downloaded this free on kindle just for something light to read every now and then for relaxation It met that purpose I did think that there would be about personal relationship with God, so was a little disappointed in that but otherwise a good lazy afternoon kind of reading or as I did relaxation before bed.

    7. WonderfulThis is wonderful 2nd story in this series Eve is still dealing with the loss of Dylan, but Lisa Jeff are trying to help Dante is getting to pushy But AJ is being a great friend But there is a spark there Is she ready.

    8. Fun ReadThis is a nice Christian romance It didn t have quite as much emergency services theme as I thought it might But I enjoyed reading it and loved the way the courage theme was woven throughout the book.

    9. Great read Second book in the seriesep emotions, second chances, tough choices, God is in control of everything Can t wait to read the third book.

    10. An emotional journey White knight by StaciStallings was emotions, devotion care Care and love fore the other one was a crucial element Such a pleasant read.

    11. Staci Stallings is another of my favorite authors She can get a little lengthy, but she has good content

    12. Rough beginning, good endingThe book seems to begin in the middle of a previous story Stick with it though, It does improve and fill in the blanks.

    13. Review of White Knight, by Staci Stallings. If I am asked to give themes for this play It would be of Moving on after a loss and overcoming unseen barriers mount up by FEARS And secondly, would be Never Judge a fellow by his outlook. At the beginning, we are introduced to Eve who was still grieving over the loss of her firefighter husband, Dustin, who died from injuries sustained while fighting a fire and feeling as if everything good in her life was lost This story unwinds with her struggle to fi [...]

    14. White Knight isn t my usual read but I thought I d try something different to cleanse my palate, so to speak I picked up To Protect Serve for free book 1 in this series and enjoyed it so I thought I d give White Knight a try This is the second book in the series and overall I enjoyed it It was a nice escape novel and the price was decent at 2.99 I was briefly introduced to these characters in book 1, which was nice and allowed for significant character development and even got to revisit charact [...]

    15. I am on a Staci reading kick I have been reading her books all week and they are beyond good This is the 2nd book in the Courage series It is the story of Eve, who was widowed in the first book She is the kind of woman we love to hate, gorgeous, smart, witty, dresses and looks like a runway model However we end up loving her because she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, kind, loving, compassionate, down to earth She is devastated by the death of her heroic and wonderful fir [...]

    16. In this story, Stallings explores the grieving heart with a sensitive touch Eve Knox has experienced debilitating grief since the death of her husband Dustin While she mourns, their group of friends and colleagues mourn with her When she lost him, she lost her light, her love, herself An encounter with AJ leaves her laughing after a two year drought He has the ability to bring joy back into her life This story contains fun points of light and laughter and a heart filled with sorrow She decided t [...]

    17. Sweet love story hero carrying guilt because he can t save the world and heroine broken because the love of her life is gone The story shows how God can help us grow stronger through life s challenges and how we can either choose to live in the past with all of our pain, regrets, and guilt or choose to live looking to the future and all the possibilities that lie before us You love the hero and heroine and root for them throughout the book The remaining characters add charm, laughter, and wisdom [...]

    18. Poorly researchedYou could really feel the lack of background knowledge the author obviously didn t spend a lot of time researching grief and loss, the main character s fashion and design background, love interest s drumming background, etc to the point that the lack of those details and embellishments distracted mightily from the storyline Which was so rife with angst that was heavily focused on to the point that it became annoying to continue reading Not a fan of this author s lazy writing sty [...]

    19. What can you say about book two in The Courage Series other than, great Not only did we see A.J and Eve fall in love, but we continued with Jeff and Lisa s story, which I really enjoyed I hate getting attached to characters in book one only to never, or rarely, see them again That certainly wasn t the case in White Knight I have to say, I was not a fan of Melody s, A.J s best friend, but I suspect I ll cove to like her in book three, given she s one of the main characters Although you could rea [...]

    20. White KnightReally enjoyed reading this book Loved the characters and all of the trials and adventures they went through It was hard for Eve to open herself for another chance at happiness after losing Dustin Also A.J had a hard time believing he deserved a Chance, when he had fIled to save her husband Both were stronger than they thought Of certain all e died well Would give it 5 stars

    21. Staci does it again This was an awesome love story between two people whose lives changed drastically one night the night when Eve s husband died Both characters mourn the loss in their own way The story is so well written that you mourn along with the characters and rejoice with them at the end of the journey that brings them together This is one of those books that you will want to read no once, but several times Ten thumbs up for Staci a job well done

    22. LOVED IT Merged review Third time reading this great book This is an amazing series and I love all the characters in it My favorite character in the series has got to be AJ Knight There s just something about him that makes me fall in love with him with each reading He s such a hero

    23. Cute little story Realized half way through this was 2 but it wasn t hard to figure out who was who For a free book can t complain, it was clean and simple Loved this quote Sometimes tomorrow isn t real Sometimes if you don t grab on and hold onto today, all you have is memories of memories that never happened because you were too busy living for tomorrow.

    24. After reading the first book in the series, and really liking A.J, I knew I had to read this and was glad I already had it on my Kindle I think I liked this book the better of the two, mainly because the heroine was the female character that I like Except that I am definitely not into fashion Staci did another awesome job

    25. Wow so love this seriesThis is the second in as series Eve s world changed when her husband died She never thought she would find love and happiness again AJ is falling for the last girl he should He shouldn t fall for the girl he let down This story is well written with amazing characters you want to at times smack upside the head but love these people.

    26. I really liked this story The romance built steadily instead of love at first sight, which was good We got to go along for the ride It was a clean, sweet story The Christian aspect was present but not preachy Christians really can have fun I would have given it 5 stars but the water skiing portion was way too long and needlessly detailed.

    27. Good second book in seriesSecond book, like the first Love the story Very good development of the characters I have enjoyed the series and the characters I love that the characters are carried over to the second book from the first continuing their story but developing a new story also looking forward to book three

    28. EbookShe lost her husband, his coworkers think it s time for her to start living again It s hard for all of them to move on but they must A new member of the group will turn it around.
