    1. I liked this book, but I didn t love it I wanted to love it, but a few things kept getting in the way To start with, here s what I loved this was a contemporary fantasy set in Ireland about a girl who s family is cursed something crazy one woman of the family must serves as a banshee for the surrounding area, singing souls who are dying into the light Whenever the current banshee dies, another is selected from the same family That was a pretty original plotline I mean, banshees Sick of ye olde w [...]

    2. I won a copy of this book in Elle Casey s 2013 Springtime Indie Book Giveaway. For the most part, I liked this book Cl ona s relationships were really well drawn and believable, especially with her mother and with her best friend Eimear In the background, there s a strong sense of what life is like in the little Irish town in which these characters live There s old fashioned tradition as well as modern lad laddette culture, but nothing particularly offensive or sexist about how any of it is portr [...]

    3. I absolutely loved this book I instantly fell in love with the main character She was well fleshed, identifiable, and easy to fall in love with This story felt very real for me.The setting was perfect, the story was fun, crazy, scary and very sad at times But I loved the entirety of it I had trouble putting this book down for very long I always had to come back as soon as I had free time, just to see what happened next I definitely recommend this book to everyone.

    4. I enjoyed the banshee element and the local Irish lingo Paul and Cliona drove me mental, though, constantly going round and round in circles There was a lovely, lonely yet magical atmosphere to this tale I could see the opening credits of a TV adaptation with a crow flying through the woods to land on the roof of the eerie house only to turn into a girl who looks out over the village waiting for a sign of death.

    5. Most people have never given banshees a second thought besides the fact they sing you a death song Claire Farrell has just shaken that up, let us into the head of one what is it like How can you live, knowing you ll be there when people die Maybe your loved ones Fantastic work by CF as usual Highly recommend it.

    6. I absolutely loved the book The story is so unique and wonderful The characters grow on you and are very realistic.
