Kookaburras, galahs, magpies, curlews and budgerigars are among the various Australian birds that keep poor wombat awake all day Treml s scratchboard illustrations are a highlight of this counting book Pair with Diary of a Wombat or any of Mem Fox s great read alouds for a storytime from down under.

    6. I really liked this book I liked the Australia theme and I liked that it was a counting book with a story instead of just counting Poor Wombat

    7. A lovely picture book for the youngsters Great pics and thoughtfully chosen animals make this a counting book to be treasured.
