    1. I couldn t put this book down I have been so busy this week but I have been squeezing in reading time everywhere to make room for this book It s a fantastic read The characters in this book feel so real and the pain that Logan goes through becomes very tangible She is terrific character perfectly flawed and searching for a better life that she doesn t know how to find It s a dark story but one that shows how people are capable of overcoming so much I highly recommend this book.

    2. I debated for a while whether to give this book three stars or four stars In the end, four stars won because I enjoyed the book and because I read it in one sitting It was almost impossible for me to stop until I got to a point that made me lose interest That being said, let me clarify something The story in itself is a great one However, it does have a few issues Let s start with the bad.The number one problem was comma issues The story flowed well, so that I was able to forgive missing commas [...]

    3. This is undeniably one of the saddest books I ve read recently Logan Day is a neglected child who grows up with little supervision or care Her father is an arsonist Her mother is afraid of her father Her sister spends every waking hour studying and doing service projects to win a scholarship and escape to college.Logan is working at McDonald s as soon as she s old enough to get a job Her parents work nearly around the clock at the family business, a liquor store on the county line next to a dry [...]

    4. Logan is a girl we have all been at one time lost, confused, and looking for excitement in all the wrong places Her story is deeply heartbreaking, as she fumbles through various friends and crushes in small town Texas I wanted to know so much about Logan, especially after the epilogue and was sad when I reached the last page I loved that this book was authentic and honest That is a rare thing to find, especially in a piece that makes the reader care so much about the characters in such a short [...]

    5. Without divulging too much about myself, I felt as if the author had a secret window into little points of my life where I was much like Logan The pain, the lonliness, the hopelessness was all so real and you could feel the sadness seep thru the pages We were all or many of us that lost and lonely girl at one point The authors ability to allow us to relate to the characters and reminise about ones past is truly magical.

    6. Don t bother What can I say New Kindle Free books some are good, some aren t This is a bad one I was fooled by the 4.7 star rating I give it one star, and that s stretching it Why did I finish it I m not sure except that I was riding in the car and it seemed the thing to do at the time.
