This reads like a connected collection than I was expecting, but once I shifted my expectations it was easy to get lost in each story I enjoyed a few of the side characters than the recurring characters I particularly was interested in Jarek from Pearls Before a Sandhog and Penny from Penny Dreadful I really like the way the writing skirts somewhere between Victorian and modern styles It works as a timely update of Victorian syntax and diction This collection really puts the punk in steampunk, [...]
