    1. I m old enough yes, really to have attended the 1962 Seattle World s Fair when I was a child, and I have pleasant memories of the Belgian Waffles and the rides I went on Other memories have faded, however, so reading this book helped me to recall other fair activities that I witnessed and participated in The authors of this book have written a thorough and engaging history of the fair, and have traced the ways in which the fair has influenced life in Seattle today I recommend this book to anyone [...]

    2. A beautiful book As the child, the Seattle World s Fair sparked my immagination and started my interest in fairs and expositions Although I was not able to attend, I followed all that was going on in Seattle This volume brings to life those exciting 6 months on a day to day basis I thought I knew a lot about the Century 21 Exposition but this book added even information It is well presented and fun to read Even those with only a passing interest in world s fairs will enjoy it The book is becomi [...]

    3. I have been fortunate to have attended two world fairs Seattle s in 1962 and Spokane s in 1974 Being just a wee thing in 62, I nevertheless have joyful memories of how unique it was in scope and presentation This book definitely shook loose some hidden memories The only reason it s not rated a 5 is because I would have preferred photos and less text Then again, the history is pretty fascinating.Seattle is an amazing city and the its icon Space Needle sets it apart from all other cities.

    4. More Seattle history, with great pictures and play by play history and recounting of the 1962 World s Fair in Seattle.

    5. Full of wonderful memories for those of us who attended the 1962 Seattle World s Fair as children, and have returned to visit it as Seattle Center ever since, for concerts, food, and fun.
