    1. Good enough for those who want a review of the origin tales for some and valuable to those who don t know much about it OVERALL GRADE B minus to B.

    2. I ll review X Men Origins and X Men Origins II together since they re so similar.X Men Origins covers a wide array of X Men characters, but don t expect it to be like the movie versions of X Men Origins, which follows a continuous story No, these are short vignettes that only give a small dose of the origins of these characters Each character might have many different kinds of powers, from the ability to turn into steel or the ability to kill a person by giving them a massive migraine, but they [...]

    3. So, there was a lot going on with this book and it worries me greatly that I picked up II before its predecessor They tried really hard and on some points I was in, it was a decent set, or rather a decent attempt at a book of origins but at the end of the day it fell flat and I was somewhat bored I actually fell asleep at work reading this book and trust me, I know I am almost always tired theses days but I wasn t that tired Nightcrawler and Emma Frost s stories were probably the most solid but [...]

    4. A mixed bag, but I think the Deadpool movie captured what was missing in this book The screenwriter wanted to know who Deadpool was before he was Deadpool And isn t that what an origin book is really about And yet these were mostly too short and not deep enough And they changed Kurt s story, and the newer one isn t better Bobby s was actually pretty good Scott Summers was written as a jerk, but he just about always is The Emma Frost had interesting bits but then it jumped too far And Deadpool wa [...]

    5. This origins book gives you a quick background on Cyclops, Iceman, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler, and Deadpool I ve read X Men for years, off and on, so I pretty much know the backgrounds on Cyclops, Iceman, and Nightcrawler I m trying to adjust to the idea of Deadpool being an X Men, he s funny, so I m adjusting Being a long time X reader, however, I still don t like or trust Emma Frostr been a huge fan of Cyclops , but I love love love any story about Nightcrawler.

    6. These stories were in a lot of cases better than the first collection I liked that some of the villains were given a backstory, and I always like to see Nightcrawler get a moment to shine because he s just so intriguing But who made this collection for me Freakin Deadpool By far the best story out of both books.

    7. Short backstories on some of the classic X men universe characters, with some retro throwbacks to when they were first seen Emma, Scott, Kurt, Bobby, etc are each given some origin Slightly too short for my tastes, but still an enjoyable read.

    8. Personally prefer the origin story of Emma Frost, Deadpool, Night Crawler why is every Deadpool mini series so special and amusing the others stories are just okay well, good to know

    9. Meh.Could take or leave the majority of this book Thank you Library but the final Deadpool origin story had me laughing so hard I was nearly in tears

    10. Awful Just So Bad.Not a single one of these origin stories aligns with established 616 continuity It was painful to read.

    11. Not bad, not great I m always happy to get some background stories and some of these were quite fun to read Just nothing that truly wowed me in any way

    12. This was way stronger than the first volume Nightcrawler and Emma Frost both have exceptionally good stories to tell here.

    13. Meh Some decent origin info but not enough depth to the stories for my tastes I was left feeling there must be too it than this which of course there is
